Real Madrid have reportedly identified Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic as a replacement for Iker Casillas.
The 27-year-old will enter the final year of his contract at the Britannia Stadium this summer and is yet to agree terms on a new deal.
Begovic has been one of the Premier League's most consistent stoppers over the last few seasons and has been monitored by a host of clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool.
Real are expected to sign a new goalkeeper this summer following some inconsistent displays from Casillas, with Manchester United man David de Gea said to be their main target.
However, Real are now putting together plans to make a summer move for Begovic, according to the Daily Star.
The report adds that the La Liga side will look to test Stoke's resolve by making a £10m bid for the Bosnian.
Begovic joined Stoke from Portsmouth in 2010.
