Real Madrid 'to move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer'

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly a summer transfer target for Real Madrid.

Milinkovic-Savic scored 14 times in all competitions for Lazio last season, leading to suggestions that the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United were interested in signing him.

The 24-year-old struggled to make his mark for Serbia at the 2018 World Cup, though, and has managed just three Serie A goals during the 2018-19 campaign.

Neither Barca nor United are believed to be considering reigniting their interest this summer, but according to El Chiringuito TV, Madrid are keen to land the midfielder.

Returning head coach Zinedine Zidane will reportedly be handed a transfer budget of £300m to improve the squad ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen have also recently been strongly linked with moves to the Bernabeu in this summer's transfer window.
