Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to use Brahim Diaz as part of a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan at AC Milan in Serie A and is enjoying a fruitful season at San Siro, providing nine goal contributions in the league whilst also helping Stefano Pioli's men reach the last four of the Champions League.
The Rossoneri have an option to buy Diaz permanently following the conclusion of this campaign, however the player may be part of a different agreement if Madrid are given the opportunity.
According to Bernabeu Digital, Real Madrid are considering using Diaz as part of a deal to sign Bellingham from Dortmund, with the Los Blancos hierarchy looking to lower the transfer fee required to secure the Englishman.
The report claims that Carlo Ancelotti's men have identified Bellingham as their primary midfield target ahead of the upcoming window, with the 19-year-old perceived as a long-term solution with the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos reaching the end of their careers.
Madrid return to La Liga action on Saturday night as they welcome Celta Vigo to the Bernabeu, whilst Diaz's Milan host relegation-threatened Lecce just days after their Champions League triumph over Serie A leaders Napoli.
