Real Madrid have reportedly offered Paris Saint-Germain £111m plus Luka Modric for Neymar, with the Spanish giants confident of completing a summer deal for the Brazilian.
Neymar's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks and is said to have made it clear that he no longer wants to represent PSG.
Barcelona have been strongly linked with a move for the South American, although he Spanish champions have already spent big on Antoine Griezmann in this summer's transfer window.
According to Sport, Madrid have made a bid of £111m plus Modric, while Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has already contacted Neymar to offer a five-year contract.
The report claims that Zinedine Zidane's side are now waiting to hear from Neymar to ascertain whether the 27-year-old is prepared to turn his back on a return to Barca in favour of a switch to the Bernabeu.
Neymar managed 105 goals in 186 games for the Catalan giants following a 2013 switch from Santos, before netting 51 times in 58 appearances for PSG in all competitions.
Modric, meanwhile, won the 2018 Ballon d'Or for his outstanding performances at club and international level. The Croatian, though, will turn 34 next month and is seemingly no longer seen as a key player for Madrid, who also continue to be linked with a swoop for Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen.
