Paris Saint-Germain reportedly rule out a January departure for France international Kylian Mbappe, who is still attracting interest from Real Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly ruled out the possibility of Kylian Mbappe being sold in January.

Mbappe turned down interest earlier this year to renew his PSG contract until the summer of 2024, with an option to extend by a further year.

The forward has enjoyed an impressive start to the 2022-23 season, registering 19 goals and five assists across 20 competitive appearances for PSG, before starring in France's World Cup campaign.

The 24-year-old received the Golden Boot award after he scored eight goals, including a hat-trick in the final which France ultimately lost on penalties to Argentina.

Despite recently returning to PSG training, Mbappe's future remains uncertain, with Real Madrid believed to be willing to reignite their interest in the forward.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the French champions will not sell Mbappe in January, while a summer departure would only be considered if a suitable offer was received.

Previous reports had claimed that the Frenchman was intending to inform PSG of his desire to leave the club at the end of the 2022-23 season.

However, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi believes that the striker is happy at the Parc des Princes and that a summer exit is not a formality.
