Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is yet to agree to a contract renewal with Los Blancos, according to a report.
The ex-Tottenham Hotspur man has remained an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti's plans at the age of 36, scoring three goals and setting up seven more in 32 matches across all tournaments this season.
Modric's existing deal in the Spanish capital is due to run out at the end of the current season, but the Croatia international has been widely expected to extend his stay at the Bernabeu.
However, Marca reports that 'no progress' has been made in attempts to tie Modric down to a new deal, despite both parties reaching a verbal agreement earlier this year.
The report adds that top clubs across Europe are now beginning to monitor the situation, but Modric is still determined to sign a new contract with Real if both parties can find an agreement.
Modric has banked a total of 31 goals and 68 assists in 423 appearances for Real Madrid since 2012, winning two La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues with Los Blancos.
