Real Madrid have a "50%" chance of signing Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, according to the player's father.
The Uruguayan has attracted attention from Europe's elite over the past couple of years, with the La Liga champions among the potential suitors of the 26-year-old.
However, Luis Cavani has revealed that there has been contact between the two clubs.
"Napoli has rejected offers from many teams," Luis Cavani told Marca. "But I think that they'd sell him for an offer of €60m (£51m).
"There is a 50% possibility he will sign for Real Madrid, but the negotiation with Napoli is difficult."
Cavani has scored 27 goals in 33 games for Napoli this season.
