Everton boss David Moyes reportedly ends Royston Drenthe's loan spell at the club.

Royston Drenthe's Everton career looks certain to be over after the player was dropped for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool.

The 25-year-old, who joined Everton on loan from Real Madrid in the summer, was expected to be part of the Toffees side that started against Liverpool, but the Dutchman was dropped for disciplinary reasons.

It is understood that the controversial midfielder was axed after he turned up late for training last week, and Blues boss David Moyes has subsequently ended the player's loan spell, according to The Sun.

Drenthe has scored four goals in 27 games for Everton this season.
