Borussia Dortmund want Nuri Sahin on permanent deal

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke says that they intend to sign Nuri Sahin on a permanent deal.

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that they will activate a clause to try to sign Nuri Sahin from Real Madrid next season.

The midfielder is currently on loan at BVB from Los Blancos, but the Bundesliga side intend to keep him in Germany beyond this season.

"We informed the representatives from Madrid around the time of the Champions League quarter-final that we plan to make use of this option to sign him," Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Ruhr Nachrichten.

The fee for the Turkey international is said to be around €7m (£5.7m).
