Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Sunday's La Liga contest with Real Betis.

Real Madrid will be without the services of three players for Sunday night's La Liga clash with Real Betis.

Ferland Mendy and David Alaba remain on the sidelines with hamstring issues, while the booking that Luka Modric picked up in the Madrid derby last weekend will rule him out of the match through suspension.

Nacho is set to continue at left-back on Sunday, but there could be a couple of changes in midfield, with Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Ceballos potentially coming in for Modric and Toni Kroos.

Rodrygo recovered from a gluteal injury to feature as a second-half substitute in Real Madrid's 1-0 loss to Barcelona in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final on Thursday night.

The Brazil international is again expected to be on the bench for the first whistle here, with Federico Valverde likely to play alongside Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior in a front three.

Alvaro Rodriguez is set to be involved with the first team for the remainder of the season, and the teenager is expected to be another option off the bench this weekend.

Midfield is arguably the only major talking point ahead of this match, with Kroos potentially being dropped.

Marco Asensio is another option to come into the side, but the Spain international is expected to be among the substitutes once again for the clash with the team currently fifth in the table.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Nacho; Ceballos, Tchouameni, Camavinga; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius
