Bernd Schuster: 'Keylor Navas will last at Madrid'

Former Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster feels that the club's current number-one keeper Keylor Navas has the quality to play in goal for the Blancos for a long time.

Former Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has praised the club's current first-choice goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

Schuster believes that Navas, who saw a transfer deadline day move to Manchester United collapse, will have significant longevity at the Bernabeu.

"Keylor is doing enough to be at Real Madrid and that's important," Schuster told Marca.

"He doesn't have to play any better or any worse. Casillas' legacy will always be there.

"Keylor is just getting started. I like him a lot, enough for him to play at Real Madrid for a very long time."

Navas kept his fifth clean sheet of the La Liga season as Rafael Benitez's side played out a stalemate with Malaga.
