Teenage centre-back Rafa Marin could make his first-team debut for Real Madrid in Saturday's La Liga contest with Espanyol at Bernabeu.
Los Blancos only need a point against Espanyol to be confirmed as league champions with four games to spare.
Nacho and Eder Militao will both be absent for the capital giants on Saturday through suspension, while David Alaba is unlikely to be involved, as he was substituted against Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night after aggravating a hamstring issue.
As a result, Marin could be handed a start in the middle of the home side's defence at Bernabeu.
The 19-year-old has made 27 appearances for Real Madrid Castilla, while he has been on the bench for Real Madrid's last two league games against Sevilla and Osasuna.
Marin was also among the substitutes for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Chelsea but was not involved in the clash with Man City on Tuesday night.
Jesus Vallejo could also feature in the middle of the defence against Espanyol, which comes four days before the second leg of their European Cup semi-final with Pep Guardiola's side.
