Jose Mourinho reveals that he still has "ongoing doubts" about his Real Madrid squad.

Jose Mourinho has revealed that he does not have complete confidence in his squad as they look towards their La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano.

The Spanish champions have had a poor start to the season, picking up just four points from their first four games.

The 49-year-old said: "We've shown great attitude in some big games but there have also been negative aspects.

"My team has not been consistently performing to their potential and I have some ongoing doubts.

"Last year it was a tough game here [at Rayo Vallecano], so we're expecting a difficult match. Against City the players found their hunger, and physical intensity. Hopefully they will take this level of responsibility into every game from now on."

Real Madrid currently sit in 12th place in La Liga.
