Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has insisted that the team have not given up their hopes of retaining the La Liga title this season.
Los Blancos reduced Barcelona's lead at the top of the table to 13 points last weekend with a 2-1 win over their rivals at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite only 12 games left to play in the campaign, Morata claims that he and his teammates are still confident of gaining more ground on the leaders.
"The team are in pretty good shape now," he told the club's official website.
"We've recovered some ground in la Liga. We know it will be complicated to win the league, but we're Real Madrid and we're going to keep fighting until it's over."
Madrid travel to Celta Vigo in La Liga on Sunday.
