Real Madrid playmaker Kaka is delighted to have returned to first-team action for the Spanish club.
The 30-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from the Spanish champions in the summer, but has featured for them in their last three competitive fixtures.
"It's a fresh start and I am pleased to be back," said Kaka. "I feel good physically and technically.
"I've been injury-free for almost a year now and I am training well and getting more chances in the first team at Real Madrid."
Kaka has also been called up by Brazil for the first time in two years for their upcoming friendly internationals against Iraq and Japan.
