Carlo Ancelotti says that he needs time to make sure that his Real Madrid team have the right balance following his first pre-season match in charge.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that he needs time to ensure that the team have a perfect balance.

The Italian took charge of his first pre-season game with the Spanish giants and witnessed his side cruise to a 6-0 win over recently-promoted Championship side Bournemouth at Dean Court.

"I think the players of quality will play together," Ancelotti said during the post-match press conference.

"It's about finding a good offensive balance, a good attacking balance. It's perhaps the most difficult thing but we need time to do it, and in the end we will do this."

Cristiano Ronaldo netted twice during the fixture, while Gonzalo Higuain and Angel di Maria were also among the names on the scoresheet.
