Gareth Bale 'to return to action in 15 days'

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti says that he expects Gareth Bale to return from his thigh strain in around 15 days.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that Gareth Bale will return to action within 15 days.

The Wales international missed the 4-0 Champions League win over FC Copenhagen with a thigh strain, but the Italian expects him back after the international break.

"We are not worried but he was not able to play today because he has a little problem," the Italian told reporters.

"He had a scan, it didn't show anything special but he has just to recover his condition. Now we have the time because we have 15 days. I think that in 15 days he will be ready to play with us."

Bale will miss this weekend's La Liga clash with Levante, but it remains to be confirmed whether he will join up with the Wales squad for next week's World Cup qualifiers.
