Real Madrid defender Danilo will reportedly undergo surgery on a long-standing ankle problem next week.
The Brazilian international joined Real Madrid from Porto last summer and made 31 appearances for the Spanish giants during the 2015-16 campaign.
The right-back largely struggled to make his mark at the Bernabeu, however, and according to Marca, he was forced to play through the final few months of the season with an ankle injury.
The same report claims that Danilo's injury is 'minor', but surgery will be required to free the 24-year-old from pain.
Danilo signed a six-year contract upon his arrival at Real Madrid in last summer's transfer window.
