Real Madrid have a 2-0 lead over Real Zaragoza at the break in tonight's La Liga encounter at the Santiagio Bernabeu.

Two quick goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Angel Di Maria have given Real Madrid a 2-0 half-time lead over Real Zaragoza at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The visitors started positively but they came unstuck in the 23rd minute when Higuain tapped home the rebound after Raul Albiol's shot had been saved.

Los Blancos doubled their lead almost instantly as Di Maria fired in from the angle.

Cristiano Ronaldo nearly added to his side's tally as they became more dominant, but his rasping effort went inches wide of the post.
