Sports Mole previews Real Madrid's attempts to overturn a 2-1 deficit against Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Champions League tomorrow night.

When Real Madrid and Bayern Munich take to the Bernabeu pitch tomorrow evening for the right to advance through to May's final, it will be the 14th occasion that they have met in the Champions League.

As a result, the tie will become the most frequent fixture in the competition's history.

Munich head into the encounter with a 2-1 lead from the opening leg in Germany last week. However, they will have to defend their advantage without centre-back Daniel van Buyten, who is currently nursing a foot injury.

One cause of concern for Munich could be the relationship between wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery following their row last week.

What Madrid will be able to call upon is a 100% home record in European matches this season.

Further positive news for coach Jose Mourinho is the fact that he has a near fully fit squad at his disposal. Only Ricardo Carvalho is an injury doubt with a thigh complaint.

Current form:

Real Madrid: WDWWLW
Bayern Munich: WWLDWW

Possible lineups:

Real Madrid: Casillas; Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo; Khedira, Alonso; Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo; Higuain

Bayern Munich: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Badstuber, Alaba; Gustavo, Schweinsteiger; Robben, Kroos, Ribery; Gomez

Sports Mole says: 3-1
