Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has claimed that 'few things can compare' to lifting the European Cup.
Ramos was part of the Los Blancos side that beat Atletico Madrid 5-3 on penalties on Saturday night to land an 11th European Cup and second title in three seasons.
The Spanish international scored the opening goal of the final, but has said that finding the back of the net was just "a bonus" to the team's overall success.
"There are few things comparable to winning a trophy of this magnitude. Our hard work has been rewarded. It's been a difficult season, but the most important thing is that we achieved our goal," Ramos told reporters.
"Scoring [in the final] is a bonus, and it's a privilege to finish the season in the best way possible and to be in the limelight with goals in two finals that have made history."
Real Madrid scored all five of their penalties in the shootout to triumph.
