Adam Federici replaces the injured Alex McCarthy in the only change for Reading for the clash with Norwich City.

Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy's injury has forced Brian McDermott to make one change to his side for the visit of Norwich City.

McDermott revealed that McCarthy faces "a while out" with a shoulder problem, so Adam Federici is recalled in place of the 22-year-old.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has no such problem and is blessed with the luxury of being able to name the same side that defeated Stoke City last Saturday.

Reading: Federici, Gunter, Shorey, Leigertwood, Hunt, McAnuff, McCleary, Morrison, Tabb, Gorkss, Roberts

Norwich: Ruddy, Whittaker, Bassong, Turner, Garrido, Johnson, Tettey, Pilkington, Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Holt
