Team News: Ipswich Town make one change for Reading clash

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy brings David McGoldrick into his team for their Championship clash against Reading.

Ipswich Town midfielder Jay Tabb starts against his former club as manager Mick McCarthy brings David McGoldrick into the team for their Championship clash with Reading this afternoon.

McGoldrick replaces summer signing Balint Bajner up front after netting on the opening day of the season.

Reading manager Nigel Adkins, meanwhile, opts to start Pavel Pogrebnyak and Simon Cox up top as they look to push on from their 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic last week.

Adkins also names an all-academy bench, which has an average age of just 19.

The Royals have won five of the previous six meetings between the clubs, losing one.
