Team News: New Reading boss Steve Clarke makes two changes for game with Watford

New Reading manager Steve Clarke recalls Alex Pearce and Nick Blackman for their home game with Watford.

New Reading manager Steve Clarke has made two changes for his first game in charge against Watford.

Centre-back Alex Pearce comes in for Jake Cooper, and captains the side at the Madejski Stadium, while Nick Blackman starts up front alongside Simon Cox and Glenn Murray.

Wales international winger Hal Robson-Kanu is not involved after becoming a father last night.

Sixth-placed Watford have also made two changes from the side that beat Wigan Athletic last week, with Gianni Munari injured and Juan Carlos Paredes dropped to the bench.

Daniel Pudil starts in place of Paredes, while Crystal Palace loanee Adlene Guedioura comes in for Munari.
