Ally McCoist has reportedly left his role as Rangers manager to serve out the remainder of his contract on gardening leave.
The Rangers boss recently revealed that he intended to leave when his current deal expired at Ibrox, and the club's hierarchy decided to allow the Scot to remain in charge of first-team duties.
However, McCoist, who started his reign in July 2011, has now stepped aside to begin his spell on gardening leave, according to Sky Sports News.
Rangers will hold their AGM on Monday with topics expected to include McCoist's situation and the raising of money to help the club avoid going out of business next year.
