Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that the club will not be able to sign any players on a permanent basis in the January transfer window.
Redknapp is hoping to bring players to Loftus Road on loan this month, but he admits that he is unsure whether QPR will be able to attract the targets they need as the club look to steer away from the relegation zone.
"We can only get a loan or two, that's all we can do," the QPR boss told reporters following the 3-0 loss to Sheffield United on Sunday.
"It's not easy to loan people at this time of year. I don't know where you're going to find someone on loan at this time of year to come and make a big difference. It's very difficult. We're not close to doing any deals."
QPR are currently 16th in the Premier League, two points clear of the bottom three.
