Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has revealed his delight after Julio Cesar agreed a four-year deal with the club.
The Inter Milan goalkeeper will stay at Loftus Road until 2016, subject to international clearance.
"It's fantastic that we've been able to attract a keeper of such outstanding ability to the club," Hughes told the club's official website.
"When the opportunity to sign a player of his quality presents itself, you have to act quickly and we've managed to get the deal done."
Rangers continue their Premier League campaign at champions Manchester City on Saturday.
