Charlie Austin: "I'm not going anywhere"

Queens Park Rangers centre-forward Charlie Austin rules out leaving the Championship club during next month's transfer window.

Charlie Austin has insisted that he will remain a Queens Park Rangers player until the end of the season.

The striker, who has six months left to run on his contract at Loftus Road, has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs over recent months.

However, speaking after his brace had helped to secure a 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion this evening, the 26-year-old vowed to stay with his Championship employers until the summer.

"I set out at the start [of the season] and I said to Les (Ferdinand, director of football) that I'm going to be here for the rest of the season, so I'm not going anywhere," he told Sky Sports News.

The two goals that Austin scored against Brighton took his tally for the season to 10.
