West Brom came from behind to secure a point in a 1-1 draw with QPR on Saturday afternoon.
QPR began the match brightly and immediately began to dominate possession with Jamie Mackie causing all sorts of problems to the Baggies back line.
West Brom improved as the half progressed however, although James Morrison fired wide after eight minutes.
QPR found the opener after 20 minutes when Joey Barton crossed for Heidar Helguson, who headed home.
The home side continued to dominate possession in the second period but West Brom remained a threat on the counter and Chris Brunt passed up a good opportunity after 70 minutes when he fired wide.
The equaliser came for West Brom after 81 minutes when Shane Long finished a swift counter attack with a tidy finish from close range.
QPR face a trip to Anfield next weekend, while West Brom welcome Wigan to the Hawthorns.
