Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse has been handed a four-match ban following his red card in the the club's 3-1 defeat to Sunderland on Saturday.
The 30-year-old was given his marching orders following a two-footed challenge on Sunderland striker Frazier Campbell, which R's boss Mark Hughes branded "poor".
Cisse has scored three goals in four games since his move from Lazio in January, but he will now miss key games against Arsenal, Manchester United, Swansea City and West Bromwich Albion.
QPR currently sit in 18th spot in the Premier League table, one point from safety.
