Harry Redknapp: 'Charlie Austin could appear in run-in'

Harry Redknapp believes that there is a chance Charlie Austin could appear for Queens Park Rangers in the run-in.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has refused to rule out the possibility of Charlie Austin playing some part in the closing stages of this season.

Austin has been ruled out for an extended period of time due to a shoulder injury but Redknapp believes that the striker's campaign may not be finished.

"You would not write him off," the QPR boss told reporters. "He is tough and if there any chance he can play, he will.

"We will have to wait and see. He has been in great form all year."

QPR visit Derby County in the Championship on Monday evening.
