Queens Park Rangers will reportedly hold talks with Mark Hughes on Monday or Tuesday over the vacant manager's job.
Neil Warnock was sacked on Sunday night with the club 17th in the Premier League table.
Hughes, who was the early favourite to succeed Warnock, will be ready to negotiate with Rangers once his representative Kia Joorabchian returns from Brazil, according to Goal.com.
Hughes's last job was with Fulham before he resigned in summer 2011 after only 11 months in charge.
