Mark Hughes not worried about Queens Park Rangers future

Mark Hughes insists that his future at Queens Park Rangers does not depend on winning against Southampton on Saturday.

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has insisted that his future at the club does not depend on his side winning against Southampton on Saturday.

QPR are currently at the foot of the Premier League table with just four points from 11 matches, while the Saints are just a point and a place above them.

"My future does not depend on this match at all," said Hughes on Friday. "Of course, the club wants to move forward and the focus is rightly on the results.

"This is a key Premier League game and one we can win. It's for others to call it a must-win game.

"It's up to us to turn this around. We know that and that's exactly what we're trying to do, as staff and players."

Hughes was appointed the QPR manager in January 2012.
