Liverpool, Southampton track Domenico Berardi

Sassuolo general director Nereo Bonato claims that Premier League duo Liverpool and Southampton have shown an interest in teenage forward Domenico Berardi.

Sassuolo general director Nereo Bonato has claimed that Premier League duo Liverpool and Southampton have shown an interest in teenage forward Domenico Berardi.

However, Bonato insists that the Serie B outfit have yet to receive any bids for the 18-year-old, who has represented Italy at Under-19 level.

He told calciomercato.it: "We have received accreditation requests to view our games in recent times from English clubs such as Liverpool and Southampton.

"But it is too early to talk about the market so there has been no contact with any club."

Berardi's agent has claimed that Juventus, Roma and Manchester City are keen on signing his client.
