Clint Hill concedes that the Queens Park Rangers squad are to blame for the results this season.

Queens Park Rangers defender Clint Hill has admitted that the players have to take a lot of the responsibility for the position that the club is currently in.

The R's are bottom of the Premier League table and are yet to win a match this season.

Those statistics led to Mark Hughes being sacked as manager on Friday morning, with Harry Redknapp coming in over the weekend.

Discussing the team's current plight, Hill conceded that all of his teammates need to take a look at themselves.

"Results haven't gone well for us this season and as players we have to take massive responsibility for the predicament we find ourselves in," the centre-back told the club's official website. "We've got ourselves in this mess, it's not just down to one person. Collectively as a team we are responsible for it.

"We haven't gelled on the pitch as well as we would have liked to, we've made a lot of errors. But now is the time to stand up and be counted and get ourselves ready for one hell of a challenge."

QPR take on Sunderland tonight in what will be Redknapp's first match in charge.
