Queens Park Rangers midfielder Karl Henry has refused to be downbeat following the team's narrow defeat to Chelsea.
The R's were beaten 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday as a late Eden Hazard penalty made the difference in the Premier League clash.
QPR remain two points adrift of safety in the relegation zone, but Henry believes that he and his teammates are putting in the kind of performances that should steer them clear of danger.
"Again, we gave it everything and the manager pointed out to us that that's the minimum requirement. We need to be doing that every week, putting in that sort of work-rate and we have, to be fair," he told the club's official website.
"In the last three games we have put in performances which have shown everybody that we care and we're working hard to put things right to get the results to push us up the table. Unfortunately at Chelsea we couldn't quite see it through."
QPR continue their Premier League campaign this Saturday when they host champions Manchester City.
