Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has rejected suggestions that he had a "disagreement" with teammate Clint Hill on the pitch.
There were claims that referee Paul Tierney had to defuse a row between the pair after Richard Dunne was sent off during QPR's 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.
After the reports, Barton took to Twitter to say: "Why are sky making out me and Clint where having a disagreement. Absolutely false. Clearly it was him stopping me moaning at the ref.
"The same ref incidentally who sent me off against Leicester. I am clearly unhappy at pen decision and Dunneys sending off."
The 31-year-old went on to say that the result for QPR, who sit fourth in the Championship table, was 'unacceptable'.
