Antero Henrique: 'Javier Pastore may leave Paris Saint-Germain'

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique hints at long-serving playmaker Javier Pastore being free to leave the club next year.

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique has suggested that Javier Pastore could leave the club next year.

The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Ligue 1 side following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over the summer.

A host of top European clubs have been linked with Pastore's signature in recent weeks, the Argentine believed to be heading for the Parc des Princes exit in the January transfer window.

When asked about the playmaker's future, Henrique is quoted by Calciomercato as saying: "He has a long history with us, under unique conditions, he and Angel Di Maria are are very important players.

"However, there are three separate factors that need to be considered and these are PSG, the players and the transfer market."

Pastore has been with PSG since 2011, during which time he has made 248 appearances and won four Ligue 1 titles in addition to seven domestic cup competitions.
