Paris Saint-Germain reportedly reach an agreement in principle with Achraf Hakimi, as a financially-hit Inter Milan may reluctantly be forced to sell the Moroccan.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Achraf Hakimi amid Inter Milan's financial troubles.

The right-back played a starring role in the Nerazzurri's triumphant 2020-21 Serie A campaign, banking seven goals and 10 assists in league action en route to the Scudetto.

However, Inter's title win has done little to alleviate their financial crisis, with Antonio Conte resigning from his managerial post and the futures of several of their key men up in the air.

According to RMC Sport, Hakimi has an agreement in principle to join PSG in the summer transfer window, but Les Parisiens are still negotiating with Inter over a fee.

The report adds that the Nerazzurri remain reluctant to sell one of their most prized assets, but the club must raise £87m in sales and may be forced to part ways with the 22-year-old.

Hakimi remains contracted to the San Siro outfit until the summer of 2025, and he enjoyed a successful two year-stint on loan at Borussia Dortmund before signing for Inter.
