Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves has revealed that he is desperate to play in the Premier League before hanging up his boots.
Alves has previously been linked with moves to both Chelsea and Manchester City, but he is believed to have rejected the latter in the summer of 2017 to join PSG from Juventus.
The Brazilian will be 36 towards the end of this season but has claimed that "it is not possible" that he will retire from professional football having not played in the Premier League.
"The idea that I might finish my career without going to the Premier League, it is not possible," Alves told The Telegraph.
"For sure, this is the most amazing football in the world. First, because of the respect for the players from the fans, and then because of the passion on the pitch. If I can play, that would be perfect, but I will make it there one way or the other."
Alves won six La Liga titles, four Copa del Rey crowns and three Champions Leagues during his time at Barcelona, making 391 appearances for the Catalan giants between 2008 and 2016.
The defender is yet to make an appearance this season following knee surgery.
