Kylian Mbappe is reportedly annoyed over a delayed wages payment earlier this season from Paris Saint-Germain.
The timing of the late payment is said to have coincided with reports that the 23-year-old wanted to leave the Parc des Princes.
French outlet L'Equipe reports that the Frenchman was the only player forced to wait for the payment of wages and that Lionel Messi and Neymar, who are on similar wages, were paid on time.
Last month, the outlet announced that the club were expected to post a loss of £317m in its latest set of accounts, with Mbappe's new contract accounting for a huge chunk of that.
A third of the £540m owed to the striker over the course of the three-year deal has reportedly already been paid out.
The delay in wages is the latest annoyance for the Frenchman after he reportedly fell out with Neymar over the order of penalty takers earlier this season.
The attacker has 19 goals and five assists in 20 matches so far this season.
