Paris Saint-Germain assistant coach Claude Makelele has reportedly been offered a new deal at the Ligue 1 champions.
Makelele has been on the backroom staff at the Parc des Princes since ending his playing career in 2011, but with his existing contract coming to an end, the former Chelsea midfielder was beginning to receive interest from a number of European clubs.
However, according to Le Parisien, the 41-year-old has been offered the opportunity to remain at PSG for another two years as the club look to maintain their dominance in France.
Laurent Blanc's side have won back-to-back league titles, while also reaching the last eight in their last two Champions League campaigns.
