Laurent Blanc happy with "beautiful" Paris Saint-Germain

Laurent Blanc is delighted with his side's 3-0 win over Reims and will now look ahead to taking on Chelsea.

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Laurent Blanc has praised his side for their "beautiful" performance in their 3-0 home win against Reims in Ligue 1 on Saturday afternoon.

The win, which was PSG's eighth in a row, moved the capital club to a 16-point lead over Monaco was, according to Blanc, the perfect game ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Chelsea in midweek.

"I am satisfied with the result and the mindset displayed by the players, even if some of them are lacking in game time," Soccerway.com quotes Blanc as saying after the game.

"It was a good match, we scored three goals and could preserve some players and play our youngsters. It's a beautiful afternoon. We will enjoy this win before preparing [on Sunday] for the return to Chelsea."

Blanc's side are potentially just two games away from wrapping up the league title.
