Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has insisted that there will be "no additional risk of injury" for Neymar during Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Rennes.
Neymar was given permission to miss PSG's Coupe de la Ligue clash with Strasbourg on Wednesday due to an 'important family issue', which required the 25-year-old to return to Brazil.
The attacker flew back into France on Wednesday to prepare for this weekend's clash with Rennes, and Emery has denied that the travelling will put the Brazil international at risk of picking up an injury.
"He is used to travelling a lot and far. This is also the case when he is with the national team and when he returns he is well," Emery told reporters. "He maintained his physical level and on Thursday he was good at training. There is no additional risk of injury."
PSG are currently nine points clear at the top of Ligue 1 ahead of their trip to Rennes this weekend.
