Paris Saint-Germain record a second 3-0 win over Marseille in the space of four days as Unai Emery's charges reach the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.

Paris Saint-Germain have reached the semi-finals of the Coupe de France thanks to a 3-0 win over Marseille at the Parc des Princes.

The visitors, playing PSG for the second time in four days, began brightly and almost penetrated the opposition defence with a lofted through-ball down the right three minutes in, but the offside flag was raised.

Yuri Berchiche and Edinson Cavani then mustered half-chances against Marseille before Clinton N'Jie got in behind the PSG backline on the left and tried an audacious chip into the far corner, but the effort went out for a goal kick.

The hosts, playing without the injured Neymar, soon stepped up a gear and had their opponents with their backs to the wall before the breakthrough came on the stroke of half time through Angel Di Maria.

Julian Draxler played a square ball to the Argentine on the edge of the box, who in turn was forced to fire on his right side, but the shot took a deflection and beat Steve Mandanda at his near post.

Di Maria added a second shortly after the restart as Marseille failed to deal with Yuri's cross from the left, allowing the ball to get to the 30-year-old, whose sidefooted effort came off Hiroki Sakai and squirmed under the grasp of Mandanda.

The game was finally put to bed nine minutes from time when a fluid team move culminated in Marco Verratti lofting the ball towards Draxler, who headed back down for an unmarked Cavani to steer a half-volley into the bottom corner of the net.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN (4-3-3): Trapp; Yuri, Kimpembe, Silva, Meunier (Rabiot 79'); Draxler, Motta (Diarra 74'), Verratti; Di Maria, Cavani, Mbappe (Pastore 46')

MARSEILLE (4-2-3-1): Mandanda; Sakai, Abdennour, Rami, Sarr; Gustavo (Kamara 58'), Lopez; Ocampos, Sanson (Amavi 74'), Thauvin (Sari 53'); N'Jie
