Portsmouth's Guy Whittingham: 'Results will come'

Portsmouth boss Guy Whittingham insists that the team will "work hard" to improve results.

Portsmouth boss Guy Whittingham is confident that his side's results will improve as the season develops.

The former Premier League outfit have won just once in League Two this season, with a total of six points leaving them in 17th position in the table.

"You're more worried if you don't play well, but that's not the case with us," he told reporters at a press conference.

"Everyone knows that we're conceding too many goals and we need to finish games off, but we win and lose as a team. We know where we need to improve and we'll work hard to do that."

Portsmouth drew 2-2 with Cheltenham Town last weekend.
