Report: Julen Lopetegui favourite for Porto job

A report claims that former Spain Under-21 boss Julen Lopetegui will take charge of Portuguese outfit Porto at the end of the season.

Former Spain Under-21 boss Julen Lopetegui has reportedly emerged as the favourite to take charge of Portuguese outfit Porto at the end of the season.

The 47-year-old, who managed his country between 2012 and 2014, has been linked with a number of coaching roles in the last few months.

However, according to Marca, Porto have offered the former Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper the chance to replace Luis Castro at the helm this summer.

Porto currently sit third in their domestic league behind Benfica and Sporting Lisbon.
