Spain Under-21s overcome Albania Under-21s

Spain Under-21s record a 2-0 win over Albania Under-21s in their 2015 European Championship qualifier on Monday.

Goals from Iker Muniain and Gerard Deulofeu handed Spain Under-21s a 2-0 win over Albania Under-21s in their 2015 European Championship qualifier on Monday.

The result at the Ruzhdi Bizhuta Stadium means that Julen Lopetegui's side are guaranteed at least second spot in Group 4 as they extended their lead over second-place Austria to nine points.

Athletic Bilbao forward Muniain opened the scoring just past the hour mark following smart work from Barcelona's Sergi Roberto.

The lead was extended to 2-0 in the latter stages when Deulofeu, who is currently on loan at Everton from Barca, found the back of the net from inside the box.

Spain have won each of the last two Under-21 European championships.
