Cheltenham Town have reached an agreement with Peterborough United to keep Kane Ferdinand on loan at Whaddon Road until the end of the season.
The attacking midfielder originally joined the League Two outfit on a two-month deal back in November.
However, subject to the completion of paperwork, 22-year-old Ferdinand will now spend the remainder of the campaign with Cheltenham.
"Since I have come in, Kane has gone from strength to strength. He can play in central or wide areas as well as in the number 10 role in the space, which we like," manager Paul Buckle told the club's official website.
"He's been great and I feel he is one who has improved on the back of what we are trying to do here."
Ferdinand has made seven appearances for the Robins this term.
