Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has revealed that he was delighted with his side's ruthlessness in front of goal in their 5-1 win over Millwall.
Lee Tomlin scored a brace while George Boyd, Tommy Rowe and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing also found the net as the Posh lifted off the bottom of the Championship.
Ferguson said: "We were ruthless in front of goal. The win was impressive, the fact that we are off the bottom of the table is great and the goal difference has improved as well which could also be crucial.
"It's been an outstanding night for us, but to be fair we have been on a decent little run so a performance like that has possibly been coming."
Peterborough are now in 23rd place in the table and are four points adrift of safety with games in hand over their rivals.
